Job: migrate CodeIgniter 3 to CodeIgniter 4 for a carrier based in Monaco.
Same fight as always with CI: the two versions have completely different architectures, so you can't just "update". New CI4 project, migration feature by feature.
Some modules had disappeared in CI4, so I found alternatives. Others needed an update, and that's sorted. The method stays the same: copy, test, fix, start again.
