It started in January 2023 with a Google Spreadsheet. I logged every expense and every bit of income, to keep an eye on where my money was going.
It worked. Too well, even: after a few months I had data to analyze. That's where the spreadsheet hit its limits. I don't know much about Google Spreadsheet, and a real application is more flexible anyway.
So I built Finance.
What it does
Transactions: add, edit, and delete your transactions, tag them, and watch a dashboard that shows how your situation moves over time.
Invoices: create your invoices, email them, or download them as PDF.
